This Privacy Policy explains how 1s Development LLC ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use our iPhone and iPad apps (PicSnip) and this website, www.1sdevelopmentllc.com (together, the "Services"). We aim to collect as little information as we need and to be clear about what we do with it.

2. Information we collect
Information stored on your device
Content you create and settings you choose in our apps are stored on your device. We do not receive this content unless you choose to send it to us (for example, in a support email).
Photos and media
PicSnip asks for access to your photo library so you can review, organize, and clean up your photos. You choose which photos the app can access (including limiting access to selected photos) and can change this at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos. Your photos are processed on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.
Purchase information
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card or billing details. Apple gives us limited information such as the product purchased, transaction identifiers, and subscription status, so that we can unlock features and provide support.
Information from Apple
If you choose to share app analytics or crash reports with developers through your iOS settings, Apple provides us with aggregated, anonymized statistics (for example, number of downloads, sessions, and crashes). We can't identify you from this information.
Information you send us
If you contact us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, and we keep the correspondence so we can help you and improve our Services.
Website
This website is hosted by GitHub Pages. GitHub may collect technical information such as IP addresses and browser type in its server logs, under its own privacy statement. We do not use cookies, advertising trackers, or analytics on this website.
3. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Services and the features you request;
- To verify purchases and manage subscription access;
- To respond to your questions and provide support;
- To diagnose problems, fix bugs, and improve the Services;
- To protect the security and integrity of the Services, and to prevent fraud and abuse;
- To comply with law and enforce our Terms of Use.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles.
4. We do not sell or share your information for advertising
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, so our apps do not show the App Tracking Transparency prompt.
5. How we disclose information
We disclose personal information only in these limited circumstances:
- Apple, in connection with distributing the app, processing purchases, and Sign in with Apple, under Apple's own policies.
- Legal and safety reasons, when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or is needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our users, or others.
- Business transfers, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we'll require the recipient to honor this policy or notify you of changes.
- With your consent or at your direction.
6. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Support emails are generally kept for up to two years. Data stored only on your device is controlled by you and is removed when you delete the app.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a data breach that affects you, we'll notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by law.
8. Your privacy rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know/access the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate information;
- Delete your personal information;
- Receive a portable copy of your information;
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising (we do neither);
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information; and
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To make a request, email support@1sdevelopmentllc.com. We may need to verify your identity, for example by matching details you give us to information we already hold. You can use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, and we may ask for written proof of authorization. We'll respond within 45 days (we may extend once by another 45 days if we tell you why). If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response, and you may also contact your state attorney general. We honor these rights for all users, regardless of state, to the extent we hold personal information about you.
9. Additional information for California residents
This section supplements the above for California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA ("CCPA"). In the past 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information:

We do not sell or share personal information, and we have not done so in the past 12 months. We use sensitive personal information only to provide the services you request, and not to infer characteristics about you. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.
Shine the Light (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.83): we do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
Do Not Track: because we do not track you across websites or apps over time, we do not respond differently to "Do Not Track" browser signals.
Users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland
1s Development LLC is the controller of personal data processed through the Services. Our legal bases are: performance of a contract (providing the Services you request), our legitimate interests (security, diagnostics, improving the Services), compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required (which you can withdraw at any time). We are located in the United States, so your data may be transferred to and processed in the U.S.; where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. You have the rights described in Section 8 and may also object to or restrict processing. You can lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Children's privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, email support@1sdevelopmentllc.com and we will delete it.
Third-party services and links
Our Services rely on Apple's platform and may link to third-party sites. Their handling of information is governed by their own policies, and we're not responsible for them. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version here and update the "Last updated" date. If we make material changes, we'll give additional notice (for example, in the app or by email) before they take effect where required by law.
